Becoming a sanctioned tournament

General tournament rules for sanctioned event:
- Home team will keep official game book

Balls will be provided by director, if more balls are needed they can be purchased on site

if possible “hit our sticks” (optional for tournament director)

55 min time limit

teams must have matching shirts with numbers on back OR forfeit home

pitchers must wear pitching helmet/face mask (no exceptions)

pitch count is 1 ball, 1 strike, no foul

run rule: 20 runs after 3
15 runs after 4
12 runs after 5
• tie score after 7: last batted out at second base, no outs
• pitching rules:

fakes are allowed(5 sec to throw pitch)

3 to 10 pitching height

PITCHER CAN BE 6 FEET BACK FROM RUBBER

infield fly rule in affect, runners can advance on their own

team can have 12 batters

no stealing
-
substitute runner is last batted out

home run limits:

6 homeruns per game limit

out after 6 homeruns hit

1 player designated as the “BOOT” (unlimited homeruns)

if “BOOT” is walked, team gets 1 free homerun until the
“BOOT” comes back up to bat

no volunteer firefighters

no military firefighters
-
combo teams are allowed
-
international teams must be from same country

retired firefighters welcome with proof

all players must be registered and have players card
